Gateway Programs & Activities
Homework Help / Power Hour:
Every Club member at the Gateway Branch participates in Power Hour. As Club members enter the building, kids come in and get their homework done right away. We will commit time, space and staff to Club members for as long as they have homework to do. We have volunteers from ASU Polytechnic, Chandler Gilbert Community College, Higley High School and Highland High School who supplement this program.
On a daily basis, the Gateway Branch offers activities from each of the five Boys & Girls Clubs of America Core Program Areas: Education and Career Development; Character and Leadership Development; The Arts; Health and Life Skills; and Sports, Fitness, and Recreation. The activities offered change regularly, but they will fall into one of these five program areas.
